Oktoberfest and the start of the World Cup season
Now don’t let the photos fool you. Although we did have a lot of fun making a quick stop into Munich to experience a legendary party, were here on business. The business of going fast and kicking euro ass.. respectfully. After all there are still 4 people in the world who did better than I last year. I’m here, I’ve been training hard on and off snow and now were going to see...

2010/2011 SEASON BABY!!!
We’re here again at the start of the season and the team has a very different look to it than last year. Jasey is gone spending time with his kids and running his blueberry farm, Matt is temporarily missing flying choppers and theres that small fact the there are no Olympics this year. At the first world cup of the year I will be the only Canadian male entered. SOO here we go Sylvain, Carl,...

Deep South
Summer is over, done, dead, finished, dummied murdered, washed up, a rare form of dummination if you will and if one thing is for sure, it was, without a doubt, the best summer of all time. I found out I cant take my younger brother out to bars without him getting in fights with people, that I have a secret dream of being a professional sailor and that LA is the craziest city of all time.

29er North American Championships
CORK - One of the Largest regattas in North America involving all types of boats from all classes. A generally serious throw, down/double, 50/50 slam of competition, sailing and keggers. An old friend Geoff Matthews and I were itching to enter a 29er into the event. We used to race together and felt that we could go and give some people a run for their money. We decided to take the plunge and...

No stress, no races, no olympic qualification, its vanished and all I’m left with is this amazing heat wave and its just to much for words. This summer has already lived up to its expectations and its still may. The only plan for snowboarding is to go to New Zealand in august which is sweet because I’ve never been before. I also wonder who will be riding next year and who will be out...

Olympic Hangover
Before the race in Cypress Jasey told me that the worst feeling he’s ever had in his life is olympic failure.. I guess I can now say that I know exactly what he means. Although I’m honoured to have been there for canada, I went there with a goal. To ride my best and get a medal. Looks like I’ll be waiting another couple of years! ahah
However… at the start of this year I...

Yesterday I woke up feeling really weird. I’ve felt that way since they’ve announced the olympic team. I’ve spent the last bit of my life trying to get here and now besides looking to get a medal when I compete I having trouble making sense of everything. Last night was the grand opening of Ridley College’s new hockey complex. I went down to Ridley to watch my brother play. He’s in grade 12 at...
WERE GOING TO THE OLYMPICS!
Since 2004 I have been searching, non stop, for a secret. I’ve wanted to know, how can I be fast, faster than anyone else. How do I become good enough to go to the olympics. Trying to figure out these answers took me 5 years, and I don’t know if I fully have the secret yet, but I know I’m close. I spent 3 years with talent, a huge ego and no discipline. It got me to world cup but It stopped there....

Good God
It happened… my first World Cup win.. and its all happening at the perfect time. It was our 2nd last qualification event for the olympics and I’ve been stressing about the games for the last 12 months. I learned that day that the secret to riding is that there is no secret.. I’m glad that one is out of the way because it only took me 4 years to figure it out. So now I’m in...
